- Fed up of buying apricots for an arm and a leg at the local supermarket? Grow your own from the patio, instead! Easily kept to just 1.5m in height, our patio apricot trees produce delicious fruit and glorious springtime blossom, and are perfect for sheltered sunny balconies, patios and courtyards
- 'Flavorcot' is a heavy cropper, yielding sweet, aromatic apricots even as a young whipper snapper
- ‘Tomcot’ is an incredible reliable variety, producing fruit in even the more temperate parts of the UK
- Our growers ensure your patio tree has a strong, developed root system and thick main stem before being sent to you. It's been grown on a dwarfing rootstock and pruned to a compact size during its time at the nursery. Plant your tree in a small pot to help stunt growth and prune yearly to help keep the desired shape and size

Good pest and disease resistance
Your patio apricot tree might be affected by canker in extended wet weather, and from a pest perspective, aphids and caterpillars.
Water regularly
Regular watering is essential for apricot trees grown in pots, as their compost dries out quickly. Throughout spring and summer, this might mean daily watering is required.
Full sun
Your potted apricot tree will grow best in full sun (at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day).
Any moist, well-drained compost
Fruit trees in pots grow well in a soil-based compost such as John Innes No.3.
Feed every spring
Your patio apricot tree will appreciate a feed in the spring using granular, all-purpose fertiliser (controlled release is preferable). If you'd rather, you can apply a fortnightly liquid feed throughout the growing season, instead.
